Vinay Pathak

We all know Vinay Pathak as a comedian of new era, a comedian of a new genre. This Indian actor has got its own style of comedy. Though he himself remains sincere but his expressions and acts make us laugh. He has been a theater artist also. He belongs to a different genre of actors which include Ranvir Shorey, Rajat Kapur, Abhay Deol.

Vinay studied from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Alongside he kept on acting in several plays. He used to tell his friends that one day he will be working in Bollywood. And his dream came true. His initially successful role include the one he did in the movie Khosla Ka Ghosla. This movie starred Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and others along with Vinay Pathak. Then came his movie Bheja Fry which starred Rajat Kapoor, Sarika and several more artists along with Vinay. In this movie, Vinay played the character of a simple, innocent and a stupid man. This role won him rave reviews and he also got the Filmfare Best Comedian Award for that year. Vinay is also working as a producer. He produced the movie Dasvidaniya in which Vinay has acted in the lead role.

Vinay pathak has also been a popular television host. He along with friend and co-star Ranvir Shorey, used to host the famous talk show Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun. They also co-hosted a show "House Arrest" on Channel V. They have been a host to a show called "Duniya Goal Hain" on ESPN-STAR. Vinay Pathak is a wonderful comedian and some of his popular movies include Oh, My God (2008), Dasvidaniya (2008), Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), Via Darjeeling (2008), Mithya (2008), Johnny Gaddaar (2007), Aaja Nachle (2007), Bheja Fry (2007), Khosla Ka Ghosla, Say Salaam India, Murder Unveiled, Jism , Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000) and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam etc
