Samir Soni

Samir Soni was born to a Punjabi Hindu family in London,U.K, he is a Saint Xavier's Alumnus and the actor has done graduation from University of California, Los Angeles. He was born on 29 September 1968. Before stepping into bollywood, he had been working as an investment banker with one of the successful firms on Wall Street in New York.

He came back to India to start modelling, the actor has done acting courses in Los Angeles and New York. Samir Soni was appeared very first in the T.V series of Doordarshan ' A Mouthful of Sky in 1996'. He has done unforgettable cameo roles in the movies like 'China Gate' by RajKumar Santoshi, his other movies include Lajja, Basti, Kaha Ho Tum and Baghban. The actor considers himself very lucky to get a role Amitabh's younger son in the movie Baghban.

Samir Soni was appeared as 'Purab' in the T.V serial Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. His recent flick was Dance like a Man and soon he is going to appear with Mandira Bedi in a play by Vikranth Pawar. Samir Soni's popular hindi movies are Vivah, Fashion and I Hate Luv Storys.
