Aamir Khan or Aamir Hussain Khan was born on the 14th of March in the year 1965. He is a Hindi film actor, producer and director. He got his first film fare award in his portrayal in the movie Raja Hindustani in 1996. In 2001 he was able to get his second best actor award via the movie Lagaan. This movie also garnered the national film fare award. Aamir Khan was born to a Muslim family in Mumbai. His father Tahjr Hussain was a producer of Hindi films. His uncle Nasir Hussain was an actor, director and film producer just like him. He has done a lot of movies and was able to succeed in most of his movies.
In his career, the movie Lagaan was considered the best of his movies and it even won the national film awards and was nominated for the Oscars. The film received the best foreign language film. It is still considered among the best of Hindi movies. The success of Lagaan was followed by Dil Chahta Hai.

It was one of the highest grossing movies of Bollywoood. Just recently, his 2009 movie 3 Idiots also garnered a lot of awards. He was married to Reena Dutta and had two children. Upon his divorce he married Kiran Rao in 2005.
