Abhay Deol

Abhay Deol is an Indian Actor born on 15th March 1976 in Chandigarh, Punjab. Abhay Deol was involved in a theatre in school, At 18, he decided to not to compromise with his studies for the sake of acting and it took 10 years to get into films. He made his film debut film in 2005 'Socha Na Tha', his second film was 'Ahista Ahista' in 2006.


In 2007 he made his first appearance in film named 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. Which has many more actors and it was a super hit on the box office. His also won a Best Actor award for his outstanding role in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. Abhay Deol bagged and enacts the tittle role in the film Dev D in 2009. The Times of India gave 5 out of 5 stars. Deol has been the cover face of Man's World and Time Out Mumbai, with the honoured tittles such as “the face of Indian cinema”. He ranked seventh on Zoom's “50 Most Desirable Hotties” poll for 2009.

Deol has also started producing films through his company forbidden Films. Deol has also learned the Israeli martial art Krav Maga. He has to be trained as a deep sea diver for his upcoming film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which was filmed in Spain.
