He is most famous for his character of Randhir Singh in Sudhir Mishra's film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. Yashpal Sharma belongs to a lower-middle class family and he hails from the city of Hisar in the state of Haryana. Yashpal’s father was a worker with the Public Works Department, that is, PWD of Haryana. The family of this actor used to reside in the colony called the 'Nahar Colony' in Hisar. The actor had a passion for acting since he was a child. He was a regular organiser as well as participant of Ramlila which is held during the Dussera festival.
