The movie did not do too well at the box office. Kamal Sadanah then appeared in the movie Rang. This movie was released in 1993. In this movie Kamal appeared with the actress Divya Bharti. This movie got an average success at the box office. The actress who had worked in this movie, that is, Divya Bharti died a few months before the release of this movie.Though Kamal Sadanah kept on working in few more movies but he could not succeed. After trying his luck in a string of films he found that his movies were not getting any success. He got a little disappointed but then gave a final try in 1998. He appeared in a movie titled as Mohabbat Aur Jung. But this time too, his luck did not favour him and so he decided to quit movies. Then he appeared into several television serials.
He acted in the famous serial Kasamh Se. It is the same serial from which Prachi Desai started her on screen career. Kamal later turned into a producer and director. He produced several movies like Karkash, Victoria No. 203 etc. Some of the movies that have been directed and produced by him are yet to be released.
