Omi Vaidya

Omi Vaidya is an American actor who is best known for his outstanding performance as Chatur Ramalingam in the super hit movie 3 Idiots. Omi has directed two short films and worked as an editor also. He has done number of television serials and TV Commercials.


Omi Vaidya graduated from the Los Angeles Country High School for the Arts and later he attended University of California, Santa Cruz for two years. From the early days Omi was interested in acting so he started acting in Marathi Mandal nataks and some English plays in US.

For his amazing acting, he has received awards also like Star Screen Award for Best Comedian - 3 Idiots and Star Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer – Male - 3 Idiots. He has done number of movie like
