He has won gold medal when he has completed graduation from Film and Television Institute of India in 1971. During that time, there were only three super star in film industry Amitabh Bahchan, Rajesh Khanna and Vijay Arora. Rajesh Khanna said that there is any other super star in industry after him is only Vijay Arora. He made his debut film with the movie Zaroorat in the year 1972 with the newcomer Reena Roy. After that, Vijay Aroroa has worked with many other super stars like Asha Parekh, Zeenat Aman, Jaya Bhaduri, Waheeda Rehman, Shabana Azmi and many more. He has done over 110 films and more than 500 television shows.
Vijay was married with Ex Model and Miss India Dilber Debara and his son Farhad is a promoter for Ferrari and Maserati cars.
