Indian actor Farooq Sheikh was born on March 25,1948 in Baroda. He was born in rich family, his father was a zamindar. He has completed his schooling from St.Mary School Mumbai, sfter that he done his degree from St. Xavier College, Mumbai nad law from Siddahrath College of Law. But Farukh was interested to make his career in acting so, after completing his studied he joined Film and Television of India, Pune.
In early days of acting Farukh starts his career with theatre acting, he has done many stage shows, to get the perfection and experience in acting. After that he got enter in film industry, his first big movie was Garam Hawa, after that he worked with famous Bengali director Satyjit Ray.
He has worked in television also like Jeena Isika Naam Hai,Ketan,Tumahari Amrita and others. He married with Rupa Jain and couple has two daughter Shaista and Sanna.
