Jeevan the Bollywood film actor acted as Narad Muni in mythological films of the 1950s. Later Jeevan got several film offers for the role of a villain in many films of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Jeevan is a kashmiri Pandit from Srinagar and his son Kiran Kumar is also a talented Bollywood and television actor.
Jeevan made his debut with a big budget film called Fashionable India. Jeevan became famous though for his roles in Romantic India in 1935, Afasana in 1946 and Station Master in 1942. The star also starred in the Punjabi flick Teri Meri Ek Jindri.
Shareef Badmash, Sanam Teri Kasam, Yaarana Roti, Do Phool, Rangoli, Nau Do Gyarah, Kannon, Sangam (1964), Waqt (1965), Phool Aur Paththar (1966), Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya (1966), Talash (1969), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Gambler, Jeet (1996), Lawaris and many more are some of his best remembered films in his career.
