Bharat Bhushan-The Legend
Bharat Bhushan (1920 – 1992), born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India was a prominent actor of the 1950s and 1960s in Bollywood. Bharat often took on roles of musicians in the movies.
Bharat Bhushan was a second rung hero, with Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand being at the top rung. He lost his first wife, and married actress Ratna, who was his co star in the movie Barsaat Ki Raat. Bharat Bhushan also got the Best Actor Award in 1955 for the flick Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu(1954).
