The talented Bobby Deol

Bobby Deol born on January 27, 1970. Bobby Deol the Indian film actor appears in Bollywood Films. Bobby Deol is the second son of Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. He is the younger brother of Sunny Deol. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to a Punjabi Sikh Jat family.

Bobby Deol has two real sisters Vijeyta and Ajita, and two half sisters from his father's second wife (actress Hema Malini), Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Actor Abhay Deol is his cousin. Bobby Deol is married to Tanya Ahuja, with whom he has two sons. His eldest son's name is Aryaman and second son named Dharam.

Barsaat also boasted of showcasing the debut of Rajesh and Dimple's daughter Twinkle Khanna. But the film bombed. Bobby Deol could not impress in his first film as his elder brother did. Bobby Deol is best known for his wild curly locks and his filmi lineage.

But his 1997 release, the very slick thriller Gupt with Kajol and Manisha Koirala was unquestionably one of the biggest hits of the year. Bobby Deol's other release Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya with Aishwarya Rai did not enjoy a similar reception.

But Bobby's patience slowly led him to the path of success. Dozens of films came his way but they held little meaning. Bobby Deol refused them all till Kareeb happened. Kareeb may not have created box-office records but Bobby's talent was noticed.

In the years that followed, his films worth taking note of were Ajnabee and Humraaz. Bobby was nominated for the Filmfare Best Actor Award for his role in the latter. He acted in two films, Dillagi and 23rd March 1931: Shaheed, with big brother Sunny but did not strike a hit.

In 2007, his film Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was a below average performer with Indian film-goers while it did good business overseas. In Apne, Bobby shared the screen with his father and brother. It did reasonably well. The year 2008 saw him in Dostana as Abhimanyu wooing Neha, played by Priyanka Chopra.

Abbas and Mustaan were looking for a good-looking yet rugged face for their thriller. The film Soldier gave a good break to Bobby in the bollywood industry. The film straightened box-office records for the actor.

Bobby Deol is still going strong. Bobby plays an assassin in Ek-The Power of One and a doctor in Roshan with Kangana Ranaut. In 2009, his fans have two films Lanka and Formula no.44 to look forward to.
