Lekh Tandon

Lekh Tandon is a an eged but popular Indian actor who was born on 13th February 1929. He is also a Bollywood director apart from being an actor. He has directed numerous Hindia movies. He himself has acted in many movies and also in Hindi television serials. Lekh is the brother of Urdu playwright Yograj Tandon.


The father of Lekh Tandon had studied with Prithviraj Kapoor during the school days. Lekh hails from a Punjabi family. Prithviraj Kapoor motivated Lekh to work and act in Bollywood. Lekh started his career as an Assistant Director in Hindi movies. As an actor, Lekh Tandon has worked in many movies like Swades, Paheli, Rang De Basanti, etc.
