In the year 2006, he debut Bollywood movie 36 China Town after that he has done mnay movies with Bollywood stars, like Namastey London, Shakalaka Boom Boom, One Two Three, Money Hai Tho Honey Hai, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani.
Upan was nominated and won many prestigious awards of film industry like Nominated for Star Screen Award for 36 China Town, Winner of IIFA Awards 36 China Town, Global Indian Film Awards as a best debut actor.
