Shahid Kapoor- Behind the scenes

Shahid Kapoor was born in Mumbai, on 25th February 1981 to actors Pankaj Kapoor and actress/classical dancer Neelima Azeem, who divorced when he was three years old. His father married Supriya Pathak. He has a brother Ruhan and sister Sana as well as stepbrother Ishaan Kapoor. When he was 18 years old he accidently landed the commercial for Pepsi, which starred Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee.



Shahid also starred in a music video for the band Aryans and met his college sweetheart Hrishita Bhatt, who also appeared in the video. Shahid is a trained dancer, and recieved his training from famed dancer, Shiamak Davar. After working as an extra here and there, Shahid finally landed a leading role in Ken Ghosh's Ishq Vishk. The film also starred Amrita Rao and MTV VJ Shenaz Treasurywala. Shahid also recieved many accolades for his refreshing performance in the candyfloss romantic flick. Shahid Kapoor also gained a growing fan base, which included Bollywood babe Kareena Kapoor. The couple also starred in a thriller, Fida, which bombed at the box office.
