Kunal Khemu was born in Srinagar,
Jammu and Kashmir to a Kashmiri Pandit family. In the year 1987, he has made his a TV debut with Ved Rahil’s, which was shot in Srinagar. Then his family moved to
Delhi and finally Mumbai. He studied in the Niranjanlal Dalmia High School and graduation from Narsee Monjee College,
Mumbai.
He was a child artist, acted in the movie
Hum hain Rahin Pyaar Ke, Raja Hindustani, Tamanna.
He made his debut as a leading actor in the movie
Kalyug by
Mukesh Bhatt, after that he has done many movies like
Taffic Signal,
Dhol were moderately successful at the box office.
