Ranvir Shorey-Filmography

Ranvir Shorey,born on August 18, 1972,a Leo, is a Bollywood actor and a former VJ. He made his debut with the movie Ek Choti Si Love story (2002)opposite Manisha Koirala which bombed at the box office.Since then, the actor has starred in popular films like Jism(2003) and Lakshya in the year 2004. Ranvir Shorey has also made appreances in critically acknowledged films like Traffic Signal and Bheja Fry in the year 2007. Where Traffic Signal was a serious film depicting the life of beggars and other people who earn their livelihood on the traffic signal, the latter movie Bheja Fry was made on a lighter note creating a laugh riot among the audiences where Ranbir marvellously portrayed his character as a tax attorney. Ranvir Shorey was also a part of a critical as well as a commercial hit movie titled Mithya released in 2008.

He made a mark in the Film Industry with his movie Khosla Ka Ghosla which not only earned him recognition but his performance in the movie was appreciated as well.Another movie that earned him praises was Pyaar Ke Side Effects where he played the character of Nanoo, a friend of Rahul Bose,the main lead in the film.Ranvir Shorey is mostly seen in multi starrer movies, one among which was Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.(2007) that did an average business at the box office and Aaja Nachle which released in the same year.His career took a dark turn when he appeared in Rahul Rawails's "Buddha Mar Gaya", a dark comedy which was badly criticised in the Hindi Film Industry. The only movie in his career so far where he was given the lead role was the movie Mithya released in the year 2008.Ranvir's performance was highly appreciated and the film got an excellent critique.

Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey along with co-star and friend Vinay Pathak also appeared on the small screen where they hosted a popular talk show titled, Ranvir Vinay aur Kaun? and successful late night show titled The Great indian Comedy Show.

Ranvir is currently dating Konkana Sen Sharma. Konkana is a leading Bollywood actress who has scored well both in parallel cinema as well as commercial movies.
